Rogue Shinigami

Um, explanation please? I'm thinking some Ichigo style thing, but I just want to be sure.

Ichigo wasn't a Rogue Shinigami. He was a substitute soul reaper/half hollow thingy....He was lame. 'Nuff Said. *nods*

The title itself can mean many different things, as in how the Shinigami in question came to be a Rogue that is.

But the overall purpose of the title is that a Shinigami who has abandoned their duties as a Shinigami would be stripped of rank and stature within Soul Society, and as thus are not recognized as a shinigami any further. In Irou's instance, he was dated for execution, rescued and thrown into the human world to remain hidden for awhile. Since he was associated with the Rebels, dodged his execution and is now hiding in the Human World, he's been deemed a rogue.

In short: A shinigami who has abandoned their duties.
