Seireitei Gates Just as large as the encasing walls of Seireitei, the gates of Seireitei tower any personnel whom stands before it. Due to its height people remain unaware of events and happenings within Seireitei which leaded to circulation of many rumors within Rukongai. It is said that a large man posses the sole duty as the acting guard of the gates but once again this may just be speculation.
Northern Rukongai District As noticed like the rest of Soul Society all homes and buildings posses a strong affiliation with the traditional Japanese architecture. Unlike those living within the southern region of Rukongai, those who live among this area are normally level headed and hold some respect for the Shinigamis whether within fear or just amusement. People from this area are considered to be far more fortunate citizens of Soul Society as poverty doesn't seem to exist among this area.
Southern Rukongai District An area primarily based with thugs and anti-shinigami groups. Though it may not be the entire population which holds such a pernicious mindset but due to the actions of the few, the citizens of southern Rukongai get little judgment if any. The homes seen within this district are alike those of the northern district but far more deteriorated in quality and appearance.
